Are you referring to questions asked of visa applicants? It depends, of course, on the type of visa. However, in general: Why do you want to go? Do you have the financial resources to pay for the visit? And will you comply with the requirements of the visa?

When interviewed for a B1/B2 visa, the general theme is for you is to prove that you have no intention of staying in the US. The questions will be a variation of what was in your application form to see if your answers are consistent. Such questions are, do you have friends or relatives living in the US? What are their status? Questions about your employment. (employment certification) Finacial capability. (6 months of bank statements not bank certification)

Again, I would like to stress that some of these requirements depend on the country that you are originating from.**

The very words of your question would make me deny you a visa as a consular officer. It's not that I don't sympathise with your situation; it's that I don't believe your purpose is a simple visit and return.
