Blame Bush.. not the church.

In Australia we are already seeing the effects of this... 5 suicides of soldiers that served in Iraq & Afghanistan in the last couple weeks.

What? Not that many return with PTSD, and if they have PTSD at all, for the most part, it's very mild. I've met too many soldiers who have been deployed, and talked to too many wives, to believe otherwise.
Therefore, since the entire premise of your question is false, it's unanswerable. What does the "Church" have to with anything? They're not the ones who wanted this, or any, war. They didn't vote for it. NO Americans did. It was Congress, the Senate, and President Bush.

I pray our government will provide for them a lot better than they have veterans from other wars. I pray that as a society, we will all do everything in our power to help those individuals and other individuals who are less fortunate or have other disabilities. Unfortunately, I fear that there will be many veterans of this war that will suffer for the rest of their lives with PTSD and other traumas from the war. I know Vietnam vets who are afraid to sleep at night because of the terrible dreams and the flash backs that they have every day. We need to understand what PTSD can do to a person's life and be a lot more compassionate.

??? It wasn't the church that sent them. I do not follow your logic. And there were PTSD vets from all the wars. So life goes on. Some will get treatment, some will mess up their lives, some will cope with the help of loving families and friends. What about the ones over there, the little children, they will have worse PTSD than our troops. What will become of them?
