I have read the bible more than once and I saw a big problem.
Christians believe they will go to heaven when they die. This is not
true. I spoke to a preacher and he told me that I was right about the
fact that nowhere in the bible does it say that christians will go to
heaven when they die. The churches preach that false fact and
deceive people about it. How can the churches preach somthing
that is not said in the bible? They don't want people to know that so
they can continue to preach that false fact. Before you disagree
with me read the bible again and you will see that I am right. I have
no problem with the bible, the bible itself has problems. It
contradicts itself and leaves out important things. For instance, in
the bible Jesus jumps from age 12 to 30. Where are the other
volumes of text with the missing 18 years of his life?
Perhaps they were destroyed or hidden so nobody would
know his true history. Please do answer.

I was raised as a christian and now
have begun to question some things
about it. I am not saying that heaven
is a myth. What I am saying is that,
Nowhere in the bible does it say in
these words "You will go to heaven
when you die if you accept God." If
you believe in God and heaven that
is fine and I am not trying to strip any
of you of what you believe. By the
way, I am not an atheist.

Jesus taught us that the kingdom of heaven is within us. He was referring to the Spirit of truth a.k.a. the Holy Spirit or ghost. Put the Spirit of truth first above Jesus, the bible or whatever else you may be told and you will have the confidence you seek. The Spirit of truth deals with facts and feelings just like your intuition does. The bible is not all inspired scripture and there is inspired scripture that was left out of the bible. If you need more information on this ask me or the Spirit of truth.

I don't know which preacher you talked to, but he was wrong. It's true that Christians wont stay there, they will 'inherit the Earth'. There will be a New Heaven and New Earth, we will live there. But if the Book of Revelation is true, we will be in heaven first. Whether you believe that Christians will be in the grave until the resurrection, or 'be absent from the body and be present with the Lord, Christians will eventually get to heaven.
At least, that's what the Bible says. Your preacher, he could do well by at least saying where he gets that.

Jesus told the thief in Luke 23:43 And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.” Paradise is heaven.
The Apostle Paul was caught up in the third heaven the heaven where God resides. See 2 Cor 12:2 I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago – whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows – such a one was caught up to the third heaven.
Christians when they fall asleep will be with the Lord in heaven. A Christian's absence from the body is being present with the Lord. Heaven is real. We see the visible heaven beyond this the the heavenly places, and then the third heaven.

to give all JEsus's life would probaly take 12 volums and is not nessery the important facts were recorded. Jesus gave many parrables explaining who would get to heaven and who not. but basically if you know Jesus as lord and saviour you will be with him after you die on earth. wethere you consider that heaven or not is another matter. I can say I look forward to being with him and others who know him.

That's why this is called religion. That's why people have faith in God. Not some signed contract for guarantee like some credit card applications.
Faith in God is not a science project. If people want concrete proof and assurance they turn to science.
They might not 'truly know' but that's what they believe. That's all it matters for them.
People generally believe God and heaven. There's very few fundamentalists who seek to prove it like it's some CSI.

The following verses support my belief that when i die I will go to Heaven:
acts 2:21 and everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved
rom 6:23 for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
eph 2:8 for it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is a gift of God
jn 5:24 i tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.
1jn 1:9 if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness

well when you die you will know for sure for me this bias you push just to get a reaction is lame your opinion is just that opinion your question is just a atheist ploy to push your agenda the Bible is guide on how we are to live and treat one another not a history book our faith is something that gives us peace and comfort even if we are wrong we lose nothing but if your wrong you lose everything

Are you suggesting that the heaven myth was created just to trick gullible people into buying into the set of christian myths. Do tell.
