Many Christian churches claim that Jews are Gods chosen people and have a automatic ticket into heaven. I find that hard to believe. What if a Jewish person does very evil things his whole life? I think God does not play favorites. Remember in the Bible when Jews turned against God he did not protect them and bad things happen to them. Thanks for answering my question. God Bless you all

Whoever told you that doesn't know their Bible.
The Jews are God's Chosen People, and He is by no means finished with them yet, but they are subject to God's judgment the same as any other son of Adam.

"There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For God does not show favoritism."
Romans 2:9-11

I do not think that Jews have "an automatic ticket into heaven". I don't think that's right.

But the Bible is where we get what we are told about these things. So all we would have to do is turn to the part that talks about the Jews and their place with God. There are always a remnant that God keeps. It's been His way since the beginning of the people of God.

I think that the answer is this:
Romans 11:1 I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin.
2 God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew. Don't you know what the Scripture says in the passage about Elijah—how he appealed to God against Israel:
3 "Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars; I am the only one left, and they are trying to kill me"?
4 And what was God's answer to him? "I have reserved for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal."
5 So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace.
6 And if by grace, then it is no longer by works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.

I believe that the Jews are God's chosen people, but I don't believe that gives them an automatic ticket to heaven. I haven't fleshed out all my thoughts on this before... but I do know that God had a separate covenant with them. But I believe now that all must go through the Son.

No one has an automatic ticket to heaven, not even Jesus. Else why would Satan have spent so much time trying to tempt him?

The Jews don't have a corner on God either. God's son, Jesus, ended that old covenant and made a new one that includes all people of the world at that last Passover he attended.

Romans 2:28-29 For he is not a Jew, who is one outwardly; neither [is that] circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 29But he [is] a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision [is that] of the heart, in the spirit, [and] not in the letter; whose praise [is] not from men, but from God.

Professed Christians that believe that the Jews are God's people today are ignoring the teachings of the Christian scriptures.

The law covenant was the contract / covenant that bound the Jews to God as God's covenant people. This covenant was abolished upon the death of Christ and thus the Jews ceased to be God's people.
The new spiritual Israel came into being in Pentecost and is primarily the nation of the Saints, the Born Again Christians.

If you believe in a hell and that there is a judgment then, yes, a Jewish person who has done things against the law of God could go there. Saying that they are God's chosen people just means that it is not necessary for them to be Baptized or 'born again' or accept Jesus as the Christ to go to heaven. It doesn't mean that they get a 'get in free, no matter how bad you have been' card.

So, the christians stole the jewish god, and jews get an automatic ticket into heaven? They get grandfathered in, so to speak. Perhaps that is why christians have so often throughout history tried to help jews get into heaven sooner rather than later.

Jews are God's chosen people under the Old Covenant which is not good enough with the blood of bulls and goats to cleanse them from their sins and make them righteous to go to heaven. After the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, all Jews and all other people must believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior before they are entitled to go to heaven. The Jews do not have any automatic right to heaven. Shalom to you.

Uh, no. I've never been to a Christian church that thinks "Jews....have a automatic ticket to heaven".

Speaking to his fellow Jews in Jerusalem, "Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."

Repentance is for "everyone of you" Jews, and gentiles alike.

So, what about those "chosen people"? God still has a purpose for them. Not because they have done something to earn it, but God made a promise and he keeps his promises:
because Romans 11:25 says "I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in." and also "Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days." (Hosea 3:5)

God keeps his promises. Even very old ones.

I don't know who has told you that Jewish people automatically get into Heaven. It's not true. It is true that in the Old Testament, the Jewish people are the chosen people. However, the only surety of anyone spending eternity with our Lord is confessing our sins and accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, believing that He is the Son of God, that He died for our sins and 3 days later rose from the dead.
