Okay, theres this dead guy, face down, in the desert. He's got a pack on his back, not a backpack, but a pack. How did he die? I'll tell you this right now, he died from the fall.

Well the story is like this. The guy was madly in love with a girl, who for some reasons rejected his advances. He had sent her many messages saying that he had fallen madly in love with her, lovey, dovey, etc., etc. One fine day she told him to jump from a plane and to open the parachute only if he saw her below...like most girls she was late!

Maybe the pack was his parachute and he didn't open it or it didn't open either way so of course he died.

Simple he's a skydiver who's shute didn't open. He didn't die from the falling, it was the sudden stop at the end.

well isn't obvious that the parachute didn't open and he fell face first .....but I'll take another answer just to make it funny..
