A lot of beauty sites say don't blow your hair and let it air dry because the heat damages the protein structures in the hair and damages it and it gives you more split ends. My suite mate blow dries her hair twice a day and every time she goes out, and her hair looks frazzled but I think if u condition it a lot and take really good care of it, you should be fine.

Unfortunately yes. I used to blowdry regularly. It tears up your hair. What i do now is let my hair air dry and then put some serum and hit it with a straightener. It is so much better. If you want to blow dry put some serum in your hair. CHI serum is the absolute best for thermal styling. (blowdrying, straightening, curling) Its in a red and silver bottle, in salons. Now the only timw i blowdry is when im in a hurry. I towel dry it as much as possible firt. The less time you spend with your hair under direct heat from that blowdryer, the better.

If you are always using a hairdryer it will dry your hair to much ruining the cuticles of the hair. Use a heat defence spray befor blowdrying, straightening or using any hot styling products. And if your not in a rush to go somewhere or need your hair dry in 2 secs let it dry naturaly, trust me your hair will thank-you for it. Hope this helps.
