It gives them some sense of superiority, apparently, to think that.

Peace be upon you,

No person can say whether another person is going to hell or not this is only for God to decide, because he knows whats in their hearts and knows ALL of their deeds.

Although I do know that in the Catholic Catechism 841 it states

841 The Church's relationship with the Muslims. "The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day."330

I know some ignorant baptist people who say some stupid things, most evangelicals are reasonable and see that we worship God All-Mighty too.

Peace be with you

Not this Christian. Knowledge brings accountability. The Bible speaks of three groups of people: the righteous (who know what is right and do it), the unrighteous (who never learn what is right so do not do it), and the wicked (who know what is right and choose to disobey).

The concept of a burning hellfire is pagan and completely at odds with Biblical teachings. When we die, we are simply dead, non-existent. It is up to God whether or not we will receive a resurrection.

The Bible says that "there is going to be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous."

I see their answers, but most do think that. They are just not saying it right out so you wont become an atheist. But that is what most of them believe deep down. But the fact is no one goes to hell eternally. It is only for a duration to gets ones very bad karma. For Christs original teachings google gospelofthenazirenes.co The original New Testament before Constantine changed so many things.

Some Protestant Christians believe that, but Catholic Christianity teaches that "Those also can attain to salvation who through no fault of their own do not know the Gospel of Christ or His Church, yet sincerely seek God and moved by grace strive by their deeds to do His will as it is known to them through the dictates of conscience. Nor does Divine Providence deny the helps necessary for salvation to those who, without blame on their part, have not yet arrived at an explicit knowledge of God and with His grace strive to live a good life." There are Christians in every nation and tongue and God judges even those that have never heard of Jesus fairly by what God gave them in their heart to know right from wrong because He is fair. He is loving and patient and Jesus is the only way. There are no other ways, all roads do not end up the same place, just one....Jesus is the way....all other ways are dead ends. The Judge will judge righteously all according to their deeds who have denied Jesus....a mass murderer and Ghandi will have different judgements. Being saved is simple and easy.....believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.

This is what the Bible say. Man was right with God, then man messed it up, then God made a way to get right with Him, if a man does not follow the way God put for man to be right with Him they have comdemned themselves to eternal seperation from God. The way God has made it to be right with Him is trusting that Jesus came and died and was risen up. The Bible say that we all fall short because we all do things that God hates. Telling a lie is bad to God. Sin any and all sin condemns us, God created us to love Him and trust Him, when we don't no matter how good we live we always have a high amount of things that we did that God hates. To God , to tell a lie is the same as murder. All sin is the same to God. Think about this, does a dead mouse smell better then a dead cat? No the smell of death is the smell of death. Now does the smell of 50 dead mice smell as bad as 2 dead cats? Now let me ask, if we put little sins like telling lies, being jealous, mean spirited, and so on as mice and sins like killing, rape and violence as cats, and then compare the number of each from person to person, what would God smell the most of? Would God say "I can tolerate the smell of dead mice better then the smell of dead cats."? I would like to say this, that the Bible also says that God chooses to save.

Let's look at the facts we have about ultimate things. I only see 3 of them:
Fact #1) There is a God. Everywhere we look we see design and where there is design there must be a designer. Anyone who could design a universe must be a God.
Fact #2) You are going to die. Sooner or later it's going to happen. I'm still waiting to see the 1st person to live 1000 years. Death comes to everyone sooner or later.
Fact #3) You do have a religion. It's the religion of good works. Just by listening to what you say, you believe that by being a good person you'll go to heaven.

How do you know that that's the way to get to heaven. What if you're wrong. You living by chance. You're playing russian roulette with eternity. You're like a person who wakes up inside of a building and you don't know how you got there. The building is on fire and the smoke is so thick that you can't see even when you go to the window. So you jump out the window, hoping you're on the first floor and the window is just 5 feet above the ground. How do you know you're not on the 10th floor. You don't. It's just a leap of faith. You're whole life is a leap of faith. You have no way of knowing what's on the other side of death. You have a religion, just like the christian, muslim, hindu, jew or buddhist. Just as they say that there's a certain way to get to heaven, you do the same. Your way to get to heaven is by living a good life. Also, how do you know what good is? Maybe, you're definition of good is different than the way God defines good. How does God define evil. Maybe the little things like little white lies, and gossip and even bad thoughts and hurting someone elses feelings are evil to God. Maybe all your good deeds are negated by a ton of little evil things that you overlook. That's my problem with your religion and all others except christianity. You have no way to deal with sin. Your way is to do good deeds to make up for your sins. At least christianity has a way to deal with those sins. Christ died for everyone of them. At least under that plan, when times comes to stand before a Holy, Righteous God, you stand before him clean.
There is a God. Look at the history of man and you'll see that man has an inherent desire to know about God. It's logical to believe that God didn't create us with a desire to know Him but no revelation of Him. I believe that revelation is the bible. I've examined the historical evidence for the bible and have come to believe that it is Gods revelation.
You're probably saying, you're just a narrow minded christian. I say we're a lot alike. I have my religious worldview which I believe is true. You have yours which you believe is true. The difference is my worldview came from intellectually examining a book that I think is from God and I came to believe there was historical evidence that this was from God. Your worldview came from you reasoning out in your mind things that you have no way to prove.
If I'm wrong, I've got nothing to lose because being a christian has forced me to live a good life so even under your worldview I wouldn't have anything to lose. If you're wrong you've got everything to lose.
I don't have a doubt that you are a good person. I just don't think the criterion for entering heaven is to be a good person. The criterion is to have your sins paid for.

No. It's stupid and presumptuous to think we know the mind of God. It's so convenient that everyone else is going to hell, except one's church. How ridiculous!

You are asking people a question that can only be answered by God.

Some don't and some do. It depends on your faith.

Good deed are not what we need to go to heaven.
Am a Christian.
I dont hink other religious followeres would go to hell. Its jus....Jesus loves you. He loves u so dearly. he gave His own son to die for you. Jesus loves sinners. But He hates sin. He loves everyone. If we come up to Him, confess our sins, believe that He died for us, accept our mistakes and asked forgiveness and dedicatd our life to Him, repent and try not to sin anymore....then we can experience Salvation. We need to be saved, Salvation is important to go to heaven, Its the only thing...i can say. I know, as humans, even after salvation, we are sure to sin. But we can ask forgiveness anytime we wsnt, but we must mean it with all our heart.
