You seem to be assuming that atheist don't have morals. Religion isn't the only thing that allows people to have morals. Also, just because one is religious and says they have morals, doesn't mean they live by their words.
EDIT: Whoa, Tira, I just realized you said, "how can "WE" enjoy super heroes", not, ' how can "YOU" enjoy superhero's'. I've seen so many people bash Atheists on here that I over looked the word "we" in your question and thought you were another basher. My apologies. However, you could have simply pointed that out, there was no reason for you to be rude about it.

An atheist could have his own moral code but I don't see how that code could ever be based upon anything. To say you SHOULD or you SHOULD NOT or you Ought or you Ought NOT or this is RIGHT or this is WRONG is to state a moral law. A moral law has to come from something or someone that is ultimate, not just you. If it is just coming from you then it is nothing more than your opinion. Why should I follow it. Your opinion might be that I should love my neighbor. My opinion might be that I should kill my neighbor. If your opinion is not based upon anything more ultimate(like God) then why should I follow it or anyone else for that reason. You can have your own moral standard as an atheist but you can't give me or anyone else a reason why your morals are right. Therefore, why should we follow it. With atheist morality you end up with chaos in a society. Everyone is doing whatever is right in their own eyes and since man has a penchant for justifying evil, everyone just ends up doing whatever evil they want.

To believe that atheists have no morals, you first have to start with the assumption that humans are naturally evil, debased, black-hearted scoundrels who are only interested in looking out for number one.
I find this a very sad, pessimistic, perverse view of our species.

I love superheroes! And Spider man didn't expect anything in return for his generosity, unlike some deities...His desire to help others was purely selfless.
