The sea is so vast and wonderous, yet we only need a pinch of salt for cooking. Why did God make the sea salty when we only use a little of it? Why not sugary? We could use alot of sugar.

Id have to say that salt retains oxygen
better for sea life.
Also salt is highley conductive and sea creatures can sense each other for hunting,
mating etc....
Id say salt is to sustain the life of the sea
creatures.
The salt in the ocean is mixed from what a
lot of the earth is made from "salt"...

Salt gives taste to the food. Sugar gives sweetness. DO NOT question bout God's creation.
Do u know...
one man saw an apple on a nuge tree and thought "O God, why did U make such a huge tree hold a small apple?" then he came across a pumpkin creeper, he thought "God, why did U make such slender creepers to hold such huge pumpkins?"
Then he sat down to take a nap. He woke up by an apple which fell on his head.
It was so painful. Then he realized why God put apples in a huge tree, If a pumpkin had fallen on his head, he wud have been dead by now.

you should speak for yourself. i've never seen someone use the word "we" and still say something so selfish. I know that salt has a lot to do with boyencee and is a matter of life and death for salt water fish. it has nothing to do with your eating and flavor preferences.I do tend to think that fresh-water fish are smaller than salt-water fish, on AVERAGE but you will have to do more research OR just get another Yahoo Answer on that point.

In each planet there asr oceans. In the heavenly (material heavens) IE, sun, moon, mars, Jupiter, etc. they have oceans of mil, and different types of nectar. But the earth has the karma to get an ocean of salt. It is just the karma of the planet. For more info go to harekrishnatemple.co. Read Bhagavad Gita As it is BY Bhaktivedanta PRabhupada-

More importantly, why did he take most of our planet's fresh water, freeze it, and put it in the most inaccessible places, when hundreds of millions of people don't have clean water? If an intelligent God existed, the Earth would be vastly different.
