The bottom of heel hurts when standing up after sitting or lying down. Dr. gave me Vioxx, it did help but was taken off the market, other over-the-counter pain easers do not help. Have also tried elevation and hot jacuzzi water. Any suggestions? HELP!

You have to rest your foot, as much as possible. Every time you walk on it is just going to aggravate the condition. You may need to get another coritzone Shot and rest for three days afterwards. Ask your doctor what is the best anti inflammatory medication. I'm sure your doctor can give you something that will help.

Yes. Get some foam insoles for your shoes You may need two for each if they are not thick enough.

Put a little ink or something on the wart and step into the shoe. This will mark its position. Cut a hole around the spot where the wart touches the insole. You may have to enlarge it if you make it too small the first time. This will take the pressure off the wart and you'll be able to walk. The wart will go away after several weeks.

Be sure to put the same thickness of insole in each shoe, or you'll get back aches. I can't believe the doctor didn't recommend this.
