ok, calm down, not you personally but, people in general, can someone prove to another that thay are capable of thought?
we can say we think, but we can't see, touch, smell, hear, or taste or thoughts. we can show them an electrical stimuli in our brain, but that electricity was not our thought.
finally we could say to someone i know i can think because i can hear my thoughts, but hearing is only done with the ears, what we just " heard " existed only in our minds. so how could anyone prove to another they have thoughts?

what is a thought made of?

No, she's right. I read a book by Saint. Germain revealing that 99% of humanity never have an original thought in their whole lives. This is because most ideas come thought-forms that float around to be picked up by others. Just becuase we have ideas, does not mean that we can employ them through the process of "thinking." It's obvious, but anyone that has a razor-shape focus, and is able to allow a divine thought to come through can be considered a genius.

There was a documentary on the learning channel saying that within this century, scientists will be able to prove whether or not conciousness is a form of light. Consider that Jesus said:

Ephesians 5:13 All things that are reproved are made manifest by light: for whatsoever doth make manifest IS light

The proof of though is the action that may follow. We could not do anything unless we think then real then will then the next step is do. The vedas thinking feeling and willing is the process before action. So action proves our thoughts. What you do shows your consciousness. There is the mind then the intelligence and higher than that is the soul. The soul is the driver of the body and controller of the mind. If the soul does not use its intelligence to control the mind it will act to cause pain for ones self and others. (Karma) We get our higher intelligence from higher authorities or representatives of God. for more info go to harekrishnatemple.co Read Bhagavad Gita As it is BY Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada

Actually, the electrical stimulation means there is activity in the brain, and this can indicate the presence of thought. And conversely, lack of activity can establish brain death.

I'm sorry, but most human beings are capable of thought, as well as animals, including other primates. It's hard to document because it is experienced, like the senses. But they have physical roots, so they can be established. A thought, for instance, is made up of neuron activity in specific regions of the brain.

Establishing self-awareness or specific thoughts, however, are a different issues.

I'm not sure if this is a vein attempt to draw parallels with proving the existence of god, however the process would be the same in all higher life forms, particularly all higher mammals where comparison to ourselves is concerned.

The unknown marvels of the brain aren't restricted to humans, but the concept of getting inside anothers mind is a human concept, as far as we know..

There is plenty of evidence of parallels in the working of all primate brains, including ours, with Kako the gorilla able to understand 2000 english words, and able to communicate using over 1000 signs in American sign language.
Kako also has had numerous IQ tests, with results ranging from 75 to 95, with the average human IQ set at 100..

I Think, therefore I am

The only thing Descartes found certain was the fact he was thinking. He further felt that thought was not a thing-in-itself, and had to proceed from somewhere (viz., cause and effect), therefore since he was thinking the thoughts, he existed --by extension--also. Hence, "thought" and "extension" were the very beginnings from which all things proceeded, "Cogito ergo sum" (I think therefore I am). His scrapping of previously accepted philosophies marked the beginning of the Man-centered universe beliefs that currently drive Western thought.

Thought isn't made of anything, thought is a property(a dynamic process) of our brain, basically just a cognitive feedback loop.

From wiki:
"Feedback is the signal that is looped back to control a system within itself. This loop is called the feedback loop. A control system usually has input and output to the system; when the output of the system is fed back into the system as part of its input, it is called the "feedback.""

you won't be able to after all. you won't be able to even instruct you've a thoughts. for instance, we create AIs in video games that artwork mutually in a digital international. They perform math issues solely and that simulate what we believe to be authentic habit. they haven't any "thoughts" regardless of the reality that the applications that compose them carry out math. they are "theory" might want to be an phantasm. you may want to even application in indignity. we gained't be sure that we are not part of a few similar digital international without extra substance than theirs. what's extra, we gained't instruct we are not figments of somebody else's mind's eye both. regardless of if our bodies and the international are authentic, it would not get us off the hook. All computers that simulate questioning accomplish that by only ones and zeros, the absence of adequate capacity to create a circuit or the presence of the capacity (for this reason the electrical energy attempt). Our brains perform on a really similar concept. Our DNA is coded with 4 chemical substances in the kind of way that bond in only 2 thoughts, making a trend of ones and zeros (like a operating laptop or computer). each theory, each urge, each voice, might want to be not something better than programming, no matter if imaginary, digital, fabric, or something else we gained't conceive. we haven't any way, with reason, to instruct we've reason (to finish that could want to beg the question), and Descartes' answer stops really short of proving something. in my opinion, I used the Incarnation of Christ to calm the doubts, yet I had to proceed previous reason to do it.

You can never prove your experiences to other people, not for certain.

Everything you know in life - except your own thoughts and existence - is uncertain to some degree. There is no absolute certainty in life.
