Nothing of significance - you mean like:
What is the meaning of life?
What happens to me when I die?
Where did I come from?

What is significant to you - who is going to win the next Superbowl??

"....when the son of man comes, will he find faith on earth?"

It is sad that few people today, even the religious, know what faith is. Few have a working definition of belief; so as to know there is a difference between faith and belief.

First faith is falsely defined; now maligned and soon again will be persecuted by Rome.

Thanks for the Dawkins spam. Interesting that he 'turns out' as a religious spirit. Even video, as he makes contact with all his kindred spirits.

All people believe, but not all people exercise faith. Faith is not belief in what you cannot prove. Faith is proving what you believe. Religions are basically a substitute for faith; and as Jesus Christ noted, make the word of God, that is truth, useless.

Faith is the ability and gift to see beyond what the mind can interpret through the senses; and bring what is seen and heard into existence. Most will reject this definition of faith because they cannot produce any evidence. They are then open to criticism.

Those who can produce the evidence of faith are not only criticized, but singled out for death in this and every age. Nothing of significance is produced without faith.

Why is it that you believe it hasn't?

So a documentary tells you what to think? No better then my religion tell me.

of course, by most religios viewpoints, if there was no religion, the world wouldn't exist... because wouldn't have made it. But that is a self-perpetuating argument.

you question really seems to be a statement of opinion disguised as a question.

I could ask back, "Why is it you are so dumb?" The inherient statement of that question is that you are dumb. There is no answer to that question (unless you are dumb.. which I doubt you are, just misinformed or judgemental - like most of us are).

This is the sort of question I find irritating. It makes a blanket assumption and then requires an answer based on that assumption.

A better (and less insulting) question would be: Has faith ever answered anything of significance? Then you could see what others think. Instead, you are just being insulting (in our view).

How is that?

Hebrew 11:1 says; Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

What this means is; Just as a title deed is evidence of real-estate. Ones Faith in God through Jesus is evidence of ones eternal estate with God.

Because faith is one of those philosophical subjects that proves Socrates most famous statement: "The only true wisdom comes from knowing you know nothing, in comparison to what there is to know."
The more we learn, either about another's faith or our own, the more questions we have, which when answered lead to more questions. I look at it as what I know is one grain of sand on the world's largest beach... the rest of the beach is what I don't know.

It hasn't to you, because you just think that the word faith has to do with religion. When you sit in your chair to come on this site, you believe that your chair will hold you. You drive and believe that the brakes will stop your car. You believe that your comments are effective on Christians. Those are all expressions of faith. "Believeing and hoping in that that is unseen." We all have faith, we just don't all put it in the same place.

Why is it all those theories (i.e., evolution, etc.) don't seem to be answering anything of significance? Hey, how much money does the atheist collection plate take in daily via evolution bumper stickers, books, t-shirts, caps, websites, etc.? Any clue? ;)

There are no answers in faith. The religious cows blindly following the herd will pray for something and have faith. If they get it then God answered their prayers. If they don't then God must have a reason for it and have other, more meaningful, plans for them. It's really absurd what religious zealots actually believe.
