To "Klondike"...there could not have been 30,000 troops there. Without a link, you are a liar.

Perhaps not combat troops, but Canadians were in Vietnam longer than the Americans...

From the first link: "It has been approximately thirty-three years since Canada sent 250 soldiers as part of the Military Component Canadian Delegation (MCCD) for the International Commission for Control and Supervision (ICCS) to South Vietnam. The role of the ICCS was to monitor the cease-fire in South Vietnam as agreed upon in the Paris Peace Accords. Four countries—Canada, Hungary, Indonesia and Poland (CHIP)—contributed 1160 members. In fact, the Commission arranged the release and exchange of more than 32,000 prisoners of war. Canada participated in the ICCS from January 28, 1973, until July 31, 1973, whereupon Iran stepped in to take over."

No Canada did not send Troops, the only foreseeable circumstance that Canadians would have served in Vietnam are those who carried a dual citizenship and enlisted in the United States Armed Forces. Don't listen to Ann Coulter.

Fellas...

I hate to burst your Coulter hating dribble, but...

CBC just ran a special about the Canadian volunteers who served in Vietnam under their own flag... Yes many also joined the US Army and fought but there were Canadians in country to the tune of over 30,000..

Further the Canadian government was selling nearly $300 million dollars (US) worth of military materials to the US; all the while protecting US draft dodgers.

Such Irony.

No Canada was not involved in Vietnam. Many Americans went to Canada to defy the draft.

No! Canada was not in Vietnam. Nor are they in Iraq like Coulter thinks! Australia was in Vietnam!
