Does anyone know the side effects or what people get out of smoking spinach? Prisoners at the jail I work at are constantly trying to smoke it and I'm wondering what the big deal is. Can you post references?

okay, um, i understand the reasoning of WHY they do it, but i'm interested in what does it do? do you get a buzz of it? what?

The only side effect i can think of is they think that when they smoke it they turn into popeye!

I've never heard about that. I don't think there are any
side effects for smoking spinach, but who knows
I'm no doctor.
Smoking tobacco causes cancer because it is
treated with some chemicals (at least that's what
they say) so those chemicals can cause cancer.
But I don't think the prisoners at the jail have any
type of chemicals they can use to treat the spinach
with.
