Wolfowitz is an Israeli American and he was part of the group of White House Zionists who tricked the USA into a war with Iraq because Saddam was an enemy of Israel. So who is asking people to trust Wolfowitz?

Hope this settles the question of the US media being left wing liberals.
Frankly, I agree with the UK. Wolfowitz is a vile little man, just as responsible for getting us into Iraq as Bush and Cheney. His going to the World Bank was just an example of the first rat leaving the sinking ship.

The Europeans aren't doing out of spite - think about how much time the UK has for the US politically, supporting it over EU members again and again and often to its detriment there.

They just think it's a point of principle - the head of the World Bank, who took such a big stance against corruption, can't be seen to be corrupt himself.

Gee. Rosie "quit" the view, Sanjaya got booted off---- there's only so much media we can take in a week and we've all forgotten about Wolfy.
Besides, the UN and the the World Bank are junk yards of corruption, anyway.
Let's stick with William Jefferson, Reid's shady land deals, and $25 billion in bribes to Congressmen in exchange for their national loyalty.

Shows again how the US, even the so-called liberal media, can be ridiculously patriotic sometimes. As almost everything and everybody in that country, by the way. The man is corrupt and talks about ending corruption. He must be fired.

Seems American media is fighting hard on this one, short of pointing fingers out. but the Europeans have made up their mind already. Actually the Brit is against him in the beginning.
