Knowing that ULTIMATELY -- each person is responsible for their INDIVIDUAL HAPPINESS .. and yes, into every life a little rain (conflict, challenges, obstacles) must fall.

It is the way that we OVERCOME these difficulties that determines our SUCCESS in life -- one can either shut oneself of (and never learn, improve, change, succeed), or one can confront the challenges directly and EMBRACE Change -- the change that can mean so MUCH MORE HAPPINESS and JOY in one's life.

These principles and thoughts apply whether you are going through rehab from a horrific accident, you are going through a tough time (and yes, that includes job loss or divorce), or whether you are struggling in the resolve to stay in school and yes, apply yourself so that in the FUTURE you can see the benefits of these extra sacrifices for a more comfortable life for your family.

I really don't think it's possible. When my Dad died in a car accident that was my worst possible time.
My son is going through child custody now and can't stay calm.
It's okay to be at wits end when your life is in tourmoil.
We've all been there, you just need someone to talk to.
Talking it out is a great thing!

I tell myself everything happens for a reason, and something good comes out of something bad, and that things are going this way because some must or must not happen. I know life takes weird turns, but it's for a reason.

One has to remain calm in crisis. Crying or worrying is not the solution. What is going to happen will happen and we have no hold over it, but one should not forget to put in the best efforts to fight against the crisis.

By telling yourself that this is an opportunity for you to grow. Be optimistic. Crap happens, but it only lasts as long as you allow it to. Look out the window and see that the sun is still shining... and also realise that this feeling will pass.

There is a silver lining on every cloud. What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. Whatever major problems you're having now won't last forever, it'll be blown away, leaving behind only people who were brave and strong.

Just realize that what you are going through will come to an end. Bad things cannot last forever. Bad times help us appriciate the good times more. You will get through it.. whatever it is.

Sometimes you can't. Sometimes you don't. Not your finest hours, but it happens.

But I find that *not* being on my own is a big help. If there's anyone possible, reach out for help from someone you trust.
