I can understand being closed on Sunday due to religious conviction. If you think that's the way to keep the commandment, go ahead.
What frustrates me is a store that closes at seven all week and six on Sundays (or similar). Why close just a little early on Sunday? If it's religious conviction, why stay open through church and evening activities, and then close as soon as people are home?
Is it just that there's no business on Sunday because everyone assumes everything is closed all day or closing early?

OK, I forgot about Jehovah's Witnesses and how they would answer. The point is that the majority of the US thinks that Sunday is the Sabbath/day of rest.
