Just pull yourself together and be honest. You do not need "a line" Look her in the eyes, smile and tell her you would like to get to know her and ask if you could have her number. Or-write your number on a piece of paper and tell her the same thing-but this gives her the time and opportunity to think about you and does not put her on the defensive as much as asking for her number. If you feel shy-put on some power music-music that pumps you up and makes you feel 12 feet tall so when you walk up to her you have the "power" to do your task. Also, if you really like her don't put off asking as this only makes the situation worse-in other words, just do it ! Possibly once you really get to know her you may not even like her. But you win because you approached her and made the first move. It's like anything in life-the more you practice the better you become. Do it !!!

After the conversation is going pretty well:
You: "Hey we should hang out sometime."
Her: "Yeah, we should!"
You: "So how can I get in touch with you?"
(as you pull out your cell phone)
Do you see how this works? I hope you see what's just happened here. You have completely taken control of the flow of the conversation, in particular, her response.
How?
Line 1: "Hey we should hang out sometime."
I mean come on, who would say no? It's such a natural and innocent question.
Line 2: "So how can I get in touch with you?"
The beauty of this line lies in the fact that you have completely eliminated the option for her to say no. She's already agreed that ya'll should hang out. When she sees your phone she'll be forced to give you her number.

if you see her often, stop and ask her if you can talk to her for a minute. then compliment her and tell her what you like about her. then say "you seem like a nice/sweet person whom i'd like to get to know better if that's okay with you." if she agrees then ask for her number.
