I don't think I can correct a lifetime of bad information on this website but anything with aluminum in it (to give it scent), which is applied to the body, gives the person a high risk of getting breast cancer and/or Alzheimer's disease.
My deodorant is a block of sea salt, look Whole foods, it will kill the bacteria, but you may have to use other stuff to hide he slight smell e-"man"-ating from you.
Additional info to grier:
What? All it is, is salt. If you want to talk harmful chemicals then read up on the effects of all that crap on your skin all the time.
Read up here: http://www.webmd.com/breast-cancer/news/20060228/antiperspirant-link-to-breast-cancer
Your skin can absorb up to 70% of what is applied to it. But, I cannot blame you the all the advertisements you've seen since you were little tell you that that is what you are supposed to wear; you were trained properly.
