There are no casinos in New York City, they do have slots at Yonkers raceway just outside the city but they do have casinos in upstate NY I think.
But Atlantic City is 2 hours away as well as Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods in Connecticut also 2 hours away.

ummm not sure, but u could always just catch the train to AC, u can gamle and go to the upclass mall there, u can buy gucci ,and so forth
