The world would be at peace at last. No senseless killing in the name of religion. No wars over who is right or wrong. No wars over 'holy lands'. People would be free at last to open their eyes and follow their own hearts and minds. Maybe we could focus on what we are doing to the earth and each other instead of who's god/goddess can beat up who's god/goddess.

If religion were eliminated, perhaps all of the social injustices will have been removes as well, leaving people to live in a harmonious manner (having no further need for religion).

For those who say that there would be peace without religion I wondered if they studied about the USSR.Keep it real,why do atheist ignore when somoene religious help charity,try there best to develop good qualities,work there butt-off giving up there wealth and comfort to help humanity and they think religious are only terrorist or fanatics.I don't refer atheist as communist or supporter of Mao Zedong and Stalin so why do you guys do this with religious?Let's be real there are good religious and good atheist,bad religious and bad atheist got it?

God would come down and the world would end. If there are no Christians (all inclusive not just non-denoms), then God is supposed to come down and wipe everything out!

and he send us down here to pray him
