I'd choose the oxy's over the valium anyday. but good question.

let's see how it shakes out:

valium costs $$$.
religion is "free"

valium is addicting and i might lose my mind.
certain religions are controlling and i might lose my identity.

valium requires a prescription and constant visits to a doctor.
religion requires a one-time purchase of a bible and suggests a weekly visit to a church.

hmmm...it's a pretty close call, depending on what it is i really want from either valium or religion.

but...i have seen God's miracles in restoring families, breaking addiction to drugs, transformations of criminals into healthy, happy people, healing from diseases...

valium just makes the pain go away for a few hours...

Valium will destroy your mind see this link for ino http://www.benzo.org.uk/manual/

Religion will improve your mind although it depends on the religion. Religion is an eternal solution whereas drugs are a temporary solution.

Drugs like valium will ruin your life but will appear as an angel but after using drugs for months or years and you loose your mind you will realise drugs were infact the devil masquerading as an angel.

Because the happifying effects of Valium decrease over time, whereas the joyful effects of Religion (or spirituality, anyway) only increase with time and practice.

Valium wears off, belief in God and eternal life are for eternity - which do you think is the better "high."
