what about a diet that alternates daily calorie amounts, like one day you eat 800-1000 cals and the next day you eat 1400-1600. Would this help keep the metabolism fast?

no- it will slow it down. body needs to know its getting certain amount of energy (calories) to burn, regulary (every 2-3 hours).

No. Eat more protein- enough for your body weight.
It will increase your metabolic rate, allowing you to burn more body fat than a low protein diet, without as large a decrease in your daily caloric intake, which will also help avoid the "starvation" mode

1200 to 1400 cals a day: low fat low carb

exercise and you will drop the weight

actually that is bad for u it is kinda like carb loading except with calories.. i think that it would hurt u more than it would help you. or atleast that is what my health teacher taught us this past six weeks
