These books were all cobbled together years and decades after Jesus lived. Those who wrote were then translated several times. We do not have any of the originals of even these later writers. Trying to proven either Jesus was a man or a god based upon such flimsy and contradictory "evidence" is dancing on the head of a pin.

Some evidence points out Jesus as a revolutionary leader, the Kingly pillar, with first John the Baptist and then Jesus' brother James as the Priestly pillar. Paul formed Christianity from Mithraism and the cult of Sol Invictus. Paul never met Jesus. In some accounts Paul had James killed.

I have never met a god in human form. Interesting to argue about one who may or may not have lived 2000 years ago. Just my two cents' worth.

The scriptures you site are a written record, given under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
According to the Old Testament, Messiah was:
to be born in Bethlehem.
to have come from Egypt
to have been of Nazareth
to have been born of a virgin
to have been honored as King one week before Passover (Palm Sunday)
to be a priest
to be a prophet
to be rejected by his people (the Jews)
to have been of the family line of King David
to be a shepherd
to suffer for man's sin
to resurrect in victory
to be a king
to be the lamb of God
and many, many more.

Jesus alone fulfills all these things.

While the Son was on earth, the Father was indeed greater. But that was a temporary condition.

Mark 14:62 And Jesus said, I AM: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. :63 Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses? :64 Ye have heard the blasphemy:...

John 8:19 Then they said unto Him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also. 20 These words spake Jesus in the treasurey, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.

John 8:24, "Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I AM, you will die in your sins."

John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM.

Jesus rewards those who worship Him:
Mat 8:2 And, behold, there came a leper **and worshipped him,** saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
Mat 8:3 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

I am a husband, a father, AND an author. Three persons, one man. What's the problem?

Don't forget John 1:1-14 and John 3:16. Also there's I Timothy 3:16 and Colossians 2:9-10. All of these verses fit together to give us a complete picture of who Jesus really is: both God and man.
The last verse in your question, Matthew 19:17, if you insist that Jesus was not God, then he was not good; there is none good but God.

Not just one, but the "three in one" (God, Jesus, Holy
Spirit). In the beginning was the Word (Jesus) and the
Word was with God and the Word was God. They are
the three in one. This is hard for unbelievers to under-
stand, but as you study the Holy Word, the Holy Spirit
lets you discern the meaning. Also, attending church
regularly and hearing preachers of the Word speak of
the scriptures helps you understand. Read the Bible for
yourself and even use a Commentary, and that will help
you to understand the scriptures. Get into a Bible Study
and this will be a great help for your understanding. If
you are truly searching for answers, do the above things
I've mentioned and the scriptures will be revealed to you.
God Bless.

The bible, containing hundreds of errors, is too unreliable a source to determine much of anything. The notion that Jesus was the "son of god" is preposterous in any case.

WELL SAID, CONGRATULATIONS!
so, someone out there understands the truth besides me! this is the difference between a "christian" and a "child of the one, true, living GOD" christians believe whatever makes them feel good...children of GOD believe and understand what GOD HIMSELF reveals to them, just as HE promised to do. christians persecute true children of GOD, calling them heretics, cults, and oddballs. but we rejoice, knowing that JESUS was persecuted, and we are persecuted in HIS name.
