Normal rate of growth is around 1/2 inch a month for most people.... How long is your hair now? Hair seems to grow faster in the warmer months because of the humitiy :O) For starter's don't cut !!!! Salons want you to have your have trimed often because they want your money.... Hair grows from the roots and not the ends... If you don't have split ends then your hair doesn't need a trim.... Longer you can go between trims the longer your hair will get.... The more you trim the shorter your hair is going to get :o( Patience is Key !!!! No heat is a major part also.... That means no hair dryers, curling irons or products of any kind..... They are bad for your hair and only damage what hair you do have :o( As for split ends.... If you do have them trim only right about where is needed or do a dusting.... One of best ways to reduce split ends and breakage of your hair so it can grow long is let your hair air dry and then comb out.... DON'T brush while your hair is wet.... Hair is like elastic and when wet is more prone to streching out and breaking.... Try to avoid brushing so much.... Use a wide tooth comb.... Massaging your head will help stimulate your growth also.... Anywhooo.... Good luck :O) Just a warning though.... There is NO fast way to grow hair long.... It takes time and patientce.... O and again NO PRODUCTS they will only hurt your hair in the long term.... I use Redken Clear Moisture shampoo and conditioner and love it.... Again Good Luck....

When it comes to having beautiful, full hair my best answer would be henna. Make sure you don't use lemon or lime juice in your recipe when you make the henna as they can cause your hair to break if it's already weak. Rain water is usually acidic enough to get a nice colour out of the henna as well and won't harm your hair further. Try using the henna as often as you can it should thicken your hair and keep it healthy. If you don't want the red of the henna you may want to look for "neutral" or "colourless" henna. It will do as nice a job for your hair but without the colour. With the neutral henna you just have to mix it with tap water, this should be used as often as possible. If there are any skin problems on your scalp the henna or neutral henna will both help fight it. The last idea I have would be to take coconut oil and massage your head with it every night. Make sure when you're washing out the oil you're using a gentle shampoo, even better a henna shampoo. I wish you luck.

there really is no way to make your hair grow faster or thicker. Some people claim to have ways to do it but the only way is good old fashioned patience. Right now I am growing my hair out. a couple years ago I chopped quite a bit off and miss it, I looked all over for something because I'm not very patient. The vitamins to make your hair grow fast are a scam too, so its just as well you can't take them.

Believe or not, one of the best things you can do take care of your hair from home to make it more moisturized. I have some great home remedies and tips for you. If you use them all, your hair will be stronger, longer, and healthier.

Tip # 1: Do conditioning pre-wash treatments to your hair before shampooing it. Simply whip up 2 tablespoons of Mayonnaise, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, and 1 egg. Let it remain on your hair for at least an hour. It will tame and soften your hair, strengthen your roots and strands, and reduce your need for any chemicals or heat on your hair. Do this 2-3 times a week.

Tip # 2: Do a hot oil treatment once a month of your hair. Use olive, canola, or any oil you have. Warm it for 10-30 seconds in a bowl and apply.

Tip # 3: Buy a high quality, all natural hair product for your hair. Find one that contains powerful essential oils, natural herbs, and vitamin rich nutrients your hair needs to thrive. Look for products with ingredients such as: Aloe Vera, Citrus Fruits, Jojoba, Rosemary, and Sage. Make sure you stray away from all natural products that use natural extracts. Extracts are not as powerful as essentials oils. Also stay away from most products in drugstores and beauty supply stores. They contain phosphates, sodium lauryl sulfate, petroleum, mineral oil, and other lab created humectants that ultimately damage your hair. To give your hair a salon quality look and restore its moisture I recommend trying A Double Portion Super Hair Growth Shampoo. The product is made by Beauty 4 Ashes and I use it on many of my clients. This conditioner will grow, thicken, and hydrate your hair and infuse your scalp with essential oils made to treat damaged, dry, dull, and lifeless hair. The product also contains moisturizing Aloe Vera, Coconut Oil, Vitamin E, and Jojoba, which will rejuvenate your strands and make your hair more bouncy, shiny, moisturized and healthy. You can find it at wwwdiscoverb4acom. I highly recommend it.

Tip # 4: Eat a protein rich diet, full of eggs, beans, cheese, and fish.

Research has confirmed the role of zinc has a vital nutrient in the healthy growth of hair. Zinc is an important element in the management of stress when it is mobilized in stress as it is an important constituent of many vital enzymes required for normal body functions.

In terms of hair, nails and skin, it helps in the synthesis of various proteins, which subsequently facilitate growth and maintenance. So any deficiency in the levels of zinc in the body will directly result in impaired growth and damage to these body parts.

Whisk an egg yolk and massage your scalp with it for a couple of minutes; then shampoo and condition your hair as usual. This should fortify your hair and make it grow faster.
