No matter how you look at it, evolution does not explain the origin of the universe. There always comes the one unknowable question. Which is correct? Matter always was and always will be, or there is a Creator who always was and always will be. Both defy logic. The answer is still unknowable.

If you have been led to believe that natural selection explains the emergence of modern man, go back and look again. For some unknown reason, a primate brain suddenly lept forward almost instantaneously. There is no logical explanation for why man evolved with such a huge and expensive to operate brain. A brain so complex that our offspring are all but completely helpless for the first decade of life. It would seem to defy logic as well.

There is not enough clear scientific info for evolution. Many scientists with Ph. D.'s do believe in God; maybe not the majority, but the majority is not always right.

Anthropocentric deity? No. If they believed in a deity at all, it would likely be a very liberal belief in a deity. Their interpretation of scripture would be very liberal and symbolic.
