A tree well taken care of?
Your roots in living water?
Just dandy when the heat comes?
Not worried about drought?
Ever yeilding fruit?

Jer 17:7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
Jer 17:8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

To be taken care of and fed spiritually ought to be the goal of every person existing on God's green earth. Unfortunately, most are rooted in soil of self-preservation, glorification and mutual admiration.

How sad to look for THINGS to comfort us when our substance comes from above.

The good times we may live today will soon give way and be replaced with wrinkles, age and death.

Indeed, 'blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD' and not unto himself nor others.

The bible is beautifully written. I believe I am learning to grow in my faith to become "as a tree planted by the waters..."
Thank you for asking, here it is early spring and the near phospherescent greens of the new leaves are beginning to peek out. New life.

Trees cannot be adopted as children of God as humans can be. I am happy enough being an adopted child of God!
