The Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses does not teach that music which others have designated as "christian" or "gospel" certainly violates the religious beliefs of Jehovah's Witnesses. However, Witnesses do reject the idea of interfaith, and individual Witnesses recognize that much or most of ostensibly "Christian" music actually includes ideas which are incompatible with bible truth.

(Revelation 18:2-4) Babylon the Great has fallen, and she has become a dwelling place of demons... Get out of her, my people, if you do not want to share with her in her sins

Many Jehovah's Witnesses have written, recorded, and published music which is entirely compatible with bible truth and sold to Witnesses and non-Witnesses alike. Of course, no true Christian would overtly connect a commercial endeavor with his faith.

(John 2:16) Stop making the house of my Father a house of merchandise!”

(2 Corinthians 2:17) We are not peddlers of the word of God as many men are

Gospel music is allot like secular music. You need to use discernment. Allot of the things sung about aren't necessarily Biblical.

What makes you think it isn't?

Gospel music often promotes non-Biblical beliefs, such as Christmas and Easter. It is also meant to make people feel good and attract them to come to church, without really teaching them anything useful.

You don't attend church because they have good music.
You don't attend church to worship.
You attend to learn the Bible, and how to preach and teach it.

Jehovah deserves not only of our worship and praise but also of our gratitude and thanks for all he has done for us.

"Every good gift and every perfect present is from above, for it comes down from the Father of the [celestial] lights, and with him there is not a variation of the turning of the shadow." -- James 1:17

One of the most beautiful ways we can praise our loving heavenly Father is by extolling him and his virtues with melodious Kingdom songs. The Bible encourages us to do so.

"Let me sing to Jehovah, for he has become highly exalted." -- Exodus 15:1

"Speaking to yourselves with psalms and praises to God and spiritual songs, singing and accompanying yourselves with music in YOUR hearts to Jehovah." -- Ephesians 5:19

The melodies sung by the Jehovah's Witnesses are inspired from the Bible. They do not contain human ideas or false ideas.

Maybe they are afraid that the JW will listen to it, and learn the truth.
