The other sites keep saying season to taste but that does not help me because i can not taste uncooked chicken :-/ I am looking for a tasty, low sodium, way to season my chicken. please help!

Use a seasoning called poultry seasoning that you can find in the supermarket on the spice rack. Or you can use a mixture of sage, rosemary, thyme. (or any of those alone)

Another good spice to use on chicken is a mixture of ginger and cumin - it's a little exotic, so definitely experimental.

For a plainer taste try paprika, and salt, if you eat salt.

Try to rub garlic butter under the skin and then season the outside with a paste made from onion, chilly, ginger, olive oil, tomato and soya sauce salt and pepper.

now slice a lemon in halve and roast in an almost dry frying pan with the open end of the lemon down remove when the lemon is dark brown,

place the lemon inside the chicken and roast the bird as normal, the lemon will have a nice sweet taste like this.

you can make the marinade in advance and keep in the fridge for a couple of weeks

Depending on what you're eating with the chicken, my favorite seasoning is as follows:

2-3 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
about 1-2 teaspoons dried Dill
pepper (as much or as little as you want)
few dashes of salt (I use 1/2 salt (made by Morton) for a lower sodium option)

This seasoning works well for chicken Caesar salad, Greek pitas, Alfredo sauce and pasta.

I like Lemon-Pepper as a good basic low-fat, low-sodium way to season chicken & fish. Look in the seasoning section of your grocery.

all depends on how you plan to cook it

if roasting (baking) with skin on then it is a seasoning playground -- sprinkle any seasonings you like on the skin, do not use any salt or seasoning containing salt because it will dry out your meat but anything else can be used with abandon. i like everglades seasoning, cajun, lots of garlic powder, fresh ground pepper, even old bay. any of these can be used alone or try different combos. they crisp up on the skin making a beautifuly crunchy exterior while keeping the meat moist but doesn't add much more than frangrance to the actual roast. if you want to actually add flavor to the meat then use fresh herbs and olive oil under the skin and less dry spice on top.

I like to shake thyme onto my chicken. I put a whole bunch on, but you might want to start with say 1 teaspoon per breast. Then sprinkle with pepper. Also, Mrs. Dash is a good low sodium way to do your chicken.

I don't think u could ever go wrong w/Lite Italian dressing! Sometimes I like to balsamic vinagrette. . .

You could also try Mrs. Dash. If you're not marinating, pop a small piece of chicken in the microwave to taste!

My mom (I don't know how she does it and not get sick) can tell right away when she's mixing. She just dips her finger and tastes. . .hello? Salmonella!

Mrs. Dash garlic seasoning is great for chicken. You just sprinkle some on and either bake or grill it. It doesn't have any salt in it either.

Mix a packet of good seasons Italian seasoning in with your flour before frying.

Try using a mixture of 3 parts olive oil to 1 part balsamic vinegar. sprinkle dried Italian herbs on it, & use a little dash each side of salt & pepper. very healthy & easy-
