I have heard that there are "summer camps" where adults can attend with their dog. There are activities for both pets and people like at a kid's summer camp. If you have attended one of these canine camps, I'd like to hear about it. I'd also like to know where they are located.

I've never done so. I did attend obedience classes with my dog. That was a good experience. For more advanced dogs/owners, there were some other courses. It's basically an obstacle course for dogs. Good luck!
