Global outcry at Taliban's use of boy in filmed beheading

The Guardian
The Taliban's use of a young boy to behead a man drew international criticism yesterday, with Unicef condemning the incident as "a terrible example of how children can be used by adults to commit heinous crimes in times of conflict".
In the videotape of the beheading the boy, who appears no older than 12, is seen standing over a blindfolded man, brandishing a long knife. Wearing a combat jacket, oversized sneakers and a white headband, he denounces the man in a high-pitched voice. "He is an American spy. This is his fate," he says.
The baby-faced executioner kneels over the man and starts to slide the knife across his throat. Blood spurts and the cries of "Allahu Akbar" or "God is great" ring out. Then the boy triumphantly holds the severed head aloft.

Its not OK in Islam. This is from Afghanistan which is an ungoverned state and people take the law into there own hands. As a Muslim and a mother there is nothing about this act that i agree with. If the man was a spy he should have been tried in a court of law and adults decide his fate just like anyone else. You have to remember this child knows nothing but war and he cannot be held responsible for what the adults around him teach him is permissible or not.
I dont need to read the article i saw the report when it was released several days ago. My husband who is a political journalist and a Muslim was of course appalled too.
You stating that its OK for Muslims to kill infidels is a statement that is false on both accounts. One the poor man that was beheaded was not an infidel but a Muslim and secondly we dont go around killing infidels (which simply means non believer it is not a derogatory word) Killing people is not a part of our faith although defense is. But is that not what all people do? Defend themselves when attacked?

Every religion has where they feel a child becomes an adult. Jews have it at 12, many Christians have it at 12-13. I've read Muslims have it around 12 and I read once 13 (teens) is adulthood. So as being an adult allows you to make adult decisions and do adult things. This goes back to thousands of years ago. When 12 & 13 yr old got married and started families. Many countries today have changed adutlhood to 18, yet an 18 yr old is still a teenager. And we all know that a 12 yr old doesn't have that mental compacity to make adult decisions, even 16 yr old, or many 18 yr old and some 20 yr old don't. Heck, I know 30 and 40 yr old adults that aren't mentally stable.
As far as your 'concern' for a child killing for Allah, that's all due to brainwashing, cult leading and following, fear forced killing, and evil adults using innocent children to do their evil deeds and taking the 'rewards' for it. This is all pure evil, satan at his worst!!!!!!!

I'm sorry, but I couldn't click on the link you provided because the details of your question were so disturbing to me that it made my stomach ache. I can say that you appear to be condemning this act of execution and I will agree that it is indeed heinous and horrible to not only commit this horrible murder, but to indoctrinate a child to do this. It's awful. Unfortunately, so many adults, of every nation, creed, belief, culture etc so often use children to perpetuate their wicked agendas. It is truly sad. All I can say is that we ought to be praying for these kids and when given an opportunity to speak out against such horrible acts, we ought to do so because it brings it out in the open. Awareness by others is a step in the direction to bring about change, however slow or tedious this change might be. Thank you for making people aware of this. It is something more that we can pray about and those who are in a position to change attitudes can do so as well.

thank you on your greetings. Muslims upward push early to thank God for the present of the recent day in the past they get entangled of their on a regular basis existence. whilst they pray, Muslims experience that they are individually assembly God and chatting with Him. subsequently, they might desire to be clean and organic whilst they meet Him. does no longer you're taking a bath once you elect for an interview for a clean activity? no longer to point assembly inclusive of your author. For those ignorants, who don't understand what Muslims are i might desire to assert that Muslims brushed their teeth one thousand years in the past the West thought-approximately cleanliness. the comparable sort of brushes they used then continues to be being utilized by using a few Muslims till ultimately as we communicate.

Why are you picking on Muslims? The Taliban is an extremist group -- no one supports them. Anyone with a brain knows that they do not represent Islam.
