following the bible

The Bible basically sums it up. Yes, the Ten Commandments are God's way also but they are included in the Bible. As believers we are suppose to follow the Bible and the stories in the Bible. Those stories are examples for us to go by.

If you are already very strong in your faith i would recommend reading the book of James in the Bible all the way through because that book is basically a "test book" (as i like to call it). You can read this book and compare and contrast your own life against it to see what you are doing right, wrong, and what you need to improve on.

You might have seent he bracelets that say "W.W.J.D." on them, which stands for "What Would Jesus Do?" That is a very good example of following God's way. If you are ever in doubt on what to do in a certain situation just think about W.W.J.D.

Doing things God’s way is to believe in His son Jesus (John 6:29, 40). Jesus commanded us to love one another (John 13:34-35, 15:1-17). If we obey Jesus we will fulfill the Laws of Moses which includes the Ten Commandments (Romans 13:8-10). So to do things God’s way would be to love your neighbor as yourself. And love is covered in 1 Corinthians 13:1-8, James 2:14-26, and 1 John 3:11-23. If you do things according to what is written in your own Bible about love, then you are doing right (James 2:8).

Well I guess like not the letter of the law but the principal of the law. Galatians 5:22 fruitage of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, and self control.
Which if you applied that you wouldn't have sex out of marriage. You wouldn't hurt those you love and you would love everyone.
So then the ten commandments would be done like:
don't lie, don't steal, don't have sex if your not married,
don't want other peoples stuff, don't kill people.
respect your parents.
That would all come under loveing people.

It seems like the world is full of people trying to tell other people what "God's way" is. What about religions that claim that their way is the only legitimate way to understand God, and those who don't agree with them are doomed to damnation? They can't all be right.

I think the best you can hope to do is use your own good judgement, and look for these answers within your own heart. Do you know what it means to be just, generous and kind? If so, you're probably on the right track, regardless of what any so-called holy book says.

In all what you do and say; do it in the love of Yeshuah. There is no other way. For Yeshuah said, "The greatest gift from Yahweh is the gift of Love."
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophesies, they will cease; where they are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

doing God's way is walking in the Spirit, and not your flesh
Basically it's doing God's Will and not our own will
submitting yourself to God, dying to the flesh
it's loving your enemies, blessing them and doing good to them forgiving them and cursing them not, leaving vegence to God
It's doing what God tells you to, instead of appeasing your flesh
God's Way is His Word, His Word is His Will, doing His Will, is doing His Way
Being led by the Spirit and not the flesh
God's way is to Give, while the flesh is to take or keep for ourself
It's knowing God is -vs- who He is not
it is His Nature -vs- sin nature
His Way is the complete opposite of the flesh, as the Spirit and the flesh oppose one another
doing things God's Way would be to overlook an offense, give your enemy your shirt if he asks for it, and your coat, too, forgiving someone, if they wrong you 70x 7 times plus, speaking the truth and never lies, it's being faithful to others and not leaving them or forsaking them, it's having mercy on others, it's making peace, it's self-lessness.
it's loving others the way He first loved you.,, the way he first loved us while were still yet sinners, it's speaking His Word, doing His Word, abiding in His Words, speaking life, joy and peace, it's taking up your own cross and following Him

kinda got on a role there, sorry, anyway, you get the idea †

Jesus - Yahshua (Yah's Savior) even sounds alike a bit said "Love one another".

John 13
34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

John 15
12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

There is a saying quaint as it is "What would Jesus Do?" aka WWJD.

Read what Jesus did and follow his example.

before Yhshua/Jesus told us at Matthew 7:13-23 that there would be many false christians and only a few would be "doing the will of my Father", we have 4,000 years of examples in the OT of what displeases YHWH/Jehovah. If we truly want to be approved by the One Christ serves as his God and Father then we must study and pay attention to those examples. Christ said that all the false christians would not be doing the will of his Father, and that it's not enough to simply *claim* to believe in Yhshua/Jesus to be saved.

here's just one example:
the Almighty Father who Christ serves says 'do not mix false traditions/rituals in your worhip to Him' at Deuteronomy 12:30
You may not even be aware that you are dishonoring the true God by partaking in festivals and rituals originally dedicated to pagan Roman gods and decietfully disguised by satan as "christian" holidays.

agape!
