why do johava witness temples not have windows?

Many of our Kingdom Halls DO have windows. Some don't. The first one I went to did not for safety reasons. As it was we had to keep our air conditioning unit in a steel cage as people kept stealing it. When we tore down one Hall I attended, to renovate and enlarge, we installed windows.

It is also at times much more convienent and less expensive to not put in windows.

We put blinds up but still found it distracting to see cars going by. If you want to know why your local hall does not have windows you should politely ask someone from that Hall.

Generally, a Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses is built without windows only in areas which tend toward hate crimes and vandalism against houses of worship. Sadly, it seems that the questioner must be from an area with a reputation for bigotry and lawlessness.

Jehovah's Witnesses are proven to be true Christians based upon the Witnesses' preaching work and the anti-Witnesses' bigoted hatred against them.

Most JWs will tell you, it has to do with the simple economical design of "most" halls, but not all. I personally think it's just another attempt to isolate themselves from others, for the sole purpose of saying "we're the true religion...see...we're persecuted". When in fact, JWs attract most of the backlash by their own behaviors, which has nothing to do with Christ. Jesus interacted with prostitutes, killers, and whomever would hear the Word. He didn't hide and sit back with a self-righteous attitude.

This is getting old. Why don’t you just look up the answers to previous question, or take the time to go around to different Kingdom Halls and look for yourself. Though they are designed to blend into a neighborhood, they are easy to find and are listed in any phone book. The Kingdom Halls are fully open for anyone to see, if they didn't fear going in and learning something they didn't know before.
