as soon as you get up, splash your face with cold water to wake yourself up. this will already get some droopiness out of your eyes. go get an ice cube and rub around the bottom of your eyelid for about 20 seconds each. close your eyes and hold the icecube right where your eyelashes are, so that some (just a little bit, really!) drips into your eyes. dry your face. you will feel refreshed and your eyes will no longer be red or puffy.

I usually but two spoons in the fridge or freezer for a few minutes, and then place the rounded part against my closed eyelid until it isnt cold anymore

get 2 tea bags (the used ones after your cup of tea, keep them cool in fridge) and put on your eyes.. this works better than cucumbers because they wrap around your eyes and refresh them.
