I agree with what Honey said 100%. I think we should all bring them home now!!!! We tried to help them establish a government and army but they are hopeless. All those people know how to do is fight. We have lost far too many men and women over the already and anyone who thinks Iraq will eventually be able to run itself in peace is NUTS! Our soldiers who have died there did not do so for nothing. We attempted to do our very best to help them but you can't help people who are mentally unbalanced lunatics. Bring our guys and girls home now!!!!

I am an army wife of a soldier that's been deployed 3 times and I can safely say that it's about time that Bush brings the troops home for good. It seems as if our work there is done and people just keeps dying. But the thing is, he cant just pull people out and call it a day, he has too much money invested in the war...yada yada yada...anyway, yes the sooner the better.

We all want the troops home however when we abruptly pulled out of Vietnam a lot of people were slaughtered. The withdrawal enabled the Khmer Rouge to come to power in Cambodia. Millions of lives were lost. We can't just pullout. When we do start to draw down nothing should be announced - not troop strength, not deployment locations, no information that could be used by adversaries to plan or attack coalition troops.

I would LOVE to see all of our troops safe and at home; however, there is so much work that needs to be done. We must all realize that there will be consequences and alot of
trouble to follow when we do pull out our troops. I strongly suggest that we would do a "Fake" pull out and then as the enemy comes out in force into the streets and try to overthrow and take their own peaceable people hostage, we should then send in a massive airstrike, and send in ONLY special ops to take out the bad element; then Bring our troops home with the big "V".

i'm a ssg in the army and i believe that bringing them home is good and bad. great because we will be home. but it will be an even worse situation than it is now if we pull out too soon. i have lived for about 20 years in the middle east, so i have a fair estimate how the people think. the terrorist will see us pulling out as a weakness and attack on our home soil again (don't think that it can't be done because it would be easy). the civilian population would have mixed review but all negative. one that we are weak for not completing what we said that we would. two, they would think that its great and go back to doing what they were before, ie. the persecution of women, a lower standard of education and medical standards. either way i think that there will be civil war in iraq and more unrest in the middle east if we pull out in the next two years. we will also be attacked on our home soil again soon there after.

ok look...i really don't listen to the news. But from what i know about the war from school and the internet I know that we should bring our troops home because I feel that we're not doing anything there except destroying a beautiful country.

Now again. If anyone feels opposite plz remember that I know almost nothing about the war and my opinion hardly counts!

If we leave now Iraq as a nation isn't prepared to withstand a hostile takeover.

I want my husband home but even he knows it isn't time yet. Iraq isn't ready.

you know i hate to say it, our guys did well, and I'm so proud of them all, but truthfully i believe that Iraq is a lost cause, i know that's awful to say?but its time our guys come home to their loved ones, i believe the guys worked there butts off trying to rid the world of terrorist, but its an impossible mission. they will always have fighting over there, that's all they know?its sad and i hate it, but i just wish this world was what it was meant to be, instead of this evil place
