I find it more than suspect that twice in 2 weeks Gordon is handed a win under more than curious circumstances. Shouldn't the fans voice their displeasure with NASCAR?

I am about to become a conspiracy theorist because of the way the end of the race was handled by NASCAR, not Jeff Gordon.

Next to the last caution when David Reutimann's car went up in smoke, NASCAR did not throw the caution until Jeff Gordon was in the lead. As soon as Gordon took the lead, they threw the caution. Even the announcers were commenting that there was not a caution yet... For at least the next 40 seconds after Davids car blew up, they held off on the caution way to long to make me believe it wasn't manipulated in Jeff Gordon's favor. Even if Jeff Gordon didn't know about it.

It dawned on me that the race may have been manipulated when I think it was Larry Mac saying, "Jeff Gordon JUST took the lead when the caution came out..."

I come to realize that it isn't the drivers who are cheating, its NASCAR and their power to manipulate the outcome of a race. I said earlier on a post that it would be hard to rig a race at Talladega, I wish to retract those words. I seen a way they can and I do believe they did.

I guess I don't agree, since I am a Jeff Gordon fan, and since I believe that NASCAR doesn't hand anyone anything. Just ask the drivers. Half of them would say that if they ever thought that the other drivers, owners, or fans believed that they thought NASCAR handed them things then they would quit because they wouldn't want ot be apart of something like that. Personally Jeff knows Talladega better then anyone except for maybe Jr. and Sr. Jeff learned everything he knows from Sr. but it takes talent to apply those things and Jeff has always had talent and has always knew how to drive a car and he does a great job. I think that if the fans are voicing their opinions about things being handed to someone which they arent, they should be using their time to voice it on something better I dont know say the fans throwing objects at the track, drivers, and damaging the cars, and maybe injuring a kid or another adult. What kind of examples are we setting for the future generations and the kids of today which are the fan base of tomorrow. Teaching them that this type of behavior is acceptable? I don't think so. I don't care who the driver is, yes boos are okay, but never and I repeat never throw something onto the track, that may damage that persons car, or damage the track, and in turn make more work for the people who clean the track, and possibly injure an innocent fan who was cheering on the winning driver. That's what NASCAR needs to figure out and set the fans straight.

Umm, ok. I think its funny that a friver doesn't win in almost a year, then races 2 diffrent type of cars, on two diffrent types of tracks, wins them both, but then is cheating or being cheated for. Ya cause nascar knows that jeffs engine was going to be the best today or last week, they knew nobody would wreck when he wasn't going to be involved, and they planned on putting every caution out, only when Jeff was going to gain from it.

I think you watch to much WWE or 1970's boxing. You need to stay away from sports that are clean and go to baseball, basketball, WWE, Boxing, or skiing. You don't want a clean sport, you want a sport you believe is cheating for people because you can't accept the fact that a driver is good.

I am sorry I am a Jeff fan, I am a Nascar fan. I supported Geoff Bodine for many years, If anyone wants to claim someone was cheated for, i am sure people can come up with a list of things every driver has done wrong.

I think what needs to happen is Nascar needs to kick out the drunk people that try to hurt someone by tossing full/half-full/empty beer cans. If anyone needs to be looking at what is going on in its sport, its nascar policing the idiots at the track! Maybe Nascar needs to put up an IQ test -- Do you want to toss beer if a certain driver wins (check here) if anyone checks it, then take the ticket and give it to a charity with a drivers siggy on it.

Nascar isn't the issue its the people that claim to be fans. Go cheer on some sterioded up home run hitter named Bonds if you want to talk about some screwed up sports management.

Gordon had one of the best cars the ENTIRE race, he was the one who had to claw his way back from 14th with 10 laps left

Dale Jr had a good car, but it wasnt as good as the Hendricks motors, even Marlin (driving with a Hendricks motor) was performing well for a while

Gordon has been recipient of good luck more than anything, pitting when he did last weekend and having the pit choice from being pole winner (something you achieve by having good driving skills)... and this week as luck had it, the caution came out at the end of the race right after Gordon had gained the lead... the caution that officially won him the race came from another accident... HOW IS THAT RIGGED in Gordon's favor... he did not cause those accidents... Talledega is all about luck, and things are known to get VERY intense as the laps wind down, Gordon was in first place in the spring race last year with 3 to go... you know where he ended up... 15th... its could have happened that way this time

What nobody talks about from last week is when Stewart PASSED Gordon with 10 or so laps to go, but couldnt close the deal, he got outraced... that night belonged to Gordon... it sure as hell wasnt fixed

What's wrong with you ? Did you suffer any damaged from being hit in the head w/ a can of beer thrown at Dega ?

No but I tired of ignorant people like you always whining because the driver your root for doesn't win. Sure you're right NASCAR rigged it so Gordon would win and the whole world can see it's drunken, redneck fans pelt Gordon's car and the track with cans of beer. It was a proud moment for NASCAR and it's fans and NASCAR rigged it that way. Great theory

i will fill you in on somewhat secret. i imagine Gordon realized at Kansas somewhat secret. He said after the race a similar element I said in the previous the race. That being ill easily helped him and that i extremely do imagine that enables drivers concentration in certain circumstances. Gordon said "per chance i want to be ill more advantageous regularly" jokingly. What takes position is once you're feeling undesirable and in simple terms magnificent in there in certain circumstances you in simple terms attempt to entice close on extremely of "over-doing it". If he recollects that then he receives one in the previous this season ends. i imagine "concentration" is the major to getting the most out of those vehicles alongside with being waiting tochronic with a loose setup. Kyle Busch had it. Carl Edwards has it. Jimmie Johnson has it. Gregg Biffle has had it yet i imagine he's dropping it. Drivers can imagine they are concentrated ... yet extremely no longer be. Jeff said there is the type of wonderful line for those vehicles to be aggressive. both they are set up accurate and also you're aggressive or both you're way off. i imagine they were close Sunday...!!! If he's taking that into interest those next few races then he receives one. search for Jimmie and Jeff to artwork at the same time at Talladega. that would want to be his next warm spot. an editorial I study the different day said HMS has found out a thanks to get some more advantageous horsepower from their engines. in the adventure that they extremely did, and they artwork at the same time at 'Dega then they have a very sturdy possibility at it there. The Toyotas will be complicated to conquer there so it is going to take teamwork.

allrighty, here we go.... first-nascar is NOT scripted, anybody who thinks so isnt a true fan. Secondly, how was Gordon HANDED the win? His first helmet in Phoenix didnt work!! Then he comes to pit road under green and beats a caution? People come on, this isnt that hard to understand. Just like Dega, if the caution had come out 210yards earlier Jamie would have been in the lead and who knows.....

Hmm, remember Harvick winning in Dale Earnhardt's car the week after Dale died? Remember Jr. winning the next race at Daytona after his dad was killed? When he could pull out and pass with ease all by himself? All day long? Without help from anyone? That seemed more manipulated than anything else I've seen lately.

Hmmm Handed the win. If you watched the race yesterday they showed were Gordon was when the caution came out for the Phoenix race and he was clearly ahead of Stewart. Yesterdays race had a big crash at the end when he was leading and the rules state clearly that they have 1 chance at a green, white, checkers finish. if you are so tired of watching your drivers finish bad you should start cheering for HMS.

Yeah i hate when some guy collects the best talent behind the wheel, the best talent coming over the wall, the best talent sitting on the war wagon, the best talent building engines, the best talent building cars, spend tons of time testing and experimenting, then has the GALL to combine all these components and experience at the racetrack and doesn't roll over and play dead so the other teams have a chance to "win"
who does that Hendrick think he is?
