Ive tried to find on the desktop and in the start menu.
The reason im asking is because im trying to get internet on it and when I went to add/remove programs it said it had ie7.

You won't have Internet Explorer 7 unless you specifically downloaded and installed it. IE6 comes with WinXP, not IE7.

ie7 is located under start --> All Programs--> Internet Explorer.
The Icon looks like an "E" with a gold line circling it.

clik start,all programs and look for internet explorer in the list, to make a shortcut to the desktop right clik it and clik send to and desktop(create shortcut)
