Beltane, lovely and representation of the sacred union of the Goddess and the God, as well as the flourish of the land after the cold months. Everything comes back to life (rebirth of the land). Honouring this sabbat can involve anything pertaining to fertility, rebirth, Godess and God also the 'Green Man' as he is the one resopnsible for bringing life back to the land.
Anyway, treat yourself to some flowers which are popular for this sabbat. The full moon in may is also known as the "Flower Moon", isn't that lovely..
You could make a powerful wish for something you long for either for yourself or someone else. To do this, you burn 3 Hawthorn (great magical properties) Branches or twigs to be more discreate in a fire. This goes with the fire part of it too.
I noticed you are still in the 'broom closet' so not to stick out in any way, you could actually dedicate some time to helping the land,ie: pamper your garden and the plants within it. Feed them, weed around etc. Or go to your local park/woods, and tidy an area so you can sit and have a wee meditation (pamper yourself.).
The list is endless....
May i suggest though if you are finding difficulty in being a solitary and are unable to join a coven, invest in the Witches Spell a Day Almanac, by Llewellyn's the isbn no. is 0-7387-0333-8. and costs $7.99 US.
Hope you enjoy Beltane, I know i will tee hee !!!!
Bright Blessings....

before whilst for me... if i could no longer get to a ritual or carry one at homestead simply by fact of residing with others, i'd purely bypass out. grab a muffin and a Snapple, a e book of poetry or some thing, head to a coastline or a park. take a seat, meditate, pray, examine the inspirational poetry, pray some greater, carry an basic feast with the juice & muffin, take a nature walk... issues like that. you do no longer want something rather formal to visual exhibit unit the trip. Myself i'm no longer into the entire fairy difficulty, which rather does not have something traditionally to do with Wicca different than this is folklore, besides the indisputable fact that it would look you are able to purely leave them little presents and alternatives in case you like someplace that this is organic and wild.

light a candle, make a wish and jump over it. Also in the morning right before the sun comes up or as it does wash your face in dew for luck. I plan to light a "campfire" in my backyard.

Anything you want... pick flowers, perform a ritual... remember it's a fire Sabbat so light some candles. You can jump over them for good luck if you'd like.
