Anyone who threw stuff at Jeff is ignorant. They would rather 42 drivers pull over and let Jr. win so that he could honor his dad's birthday. Well, what a great way to disrespect him and ruin a great race.

Thankfully a lot of them were arrested and taken away.

Just like a school in the summer.... NO CLASS!

What i find amusing is that SR and Jeff had some business adventures together. Most people don't take the time to realize that what happend on the track stayed on the track with SR and Jeff.

So why do the fans do what they do? Its disrespect to the Nextell Cup. Sr was one hell of a racer, many considered him dirty, but nobody could ever say he didn't respect the sport. Jeff is the same way, the respect of the sport is the most important thing. Hell you didn't see it anybetter then Jeff being pissed he lost to Jimmy, his own car. Thats showing how things on and off the track are diffrent.

Jr. and Jeff are friends off the track. They help each other alot at some tracks if you ever remember the past. Daytona they run with each other alot, because they have the best cars. It makes sense to run with the best untill its time to win. Thats respect. Now if only the fans could learn this, the sport would lose the bad rep it is now getting.

The people throwing stuff are disgaceful idiots, and unfortunately it's how people act in today's society. People in general are not concerned with how their own actions affect others. Do you think they were concerned that the full beer can they threw might hit a bystander in the head? It's not just Nascar. What about the fights in Basketball with the players and fans? What about the stampedes at soccer games? I could go on and on, but I think you understand what I mean. What I don't understand is that the drivers have asked people to stop throwing things onto the track yet it continues. If these people want to truly support their favorite drivers, they may want to start listening to them and honoring their wishes for people to stop throwing stuff on the track.

Not just the Earnhardt fans.
I was there and saw beer cans and water bottles being thrown and the hats and shirts read Earnhardt,Kahne,Roush,Busch,
Robbie Gordon,#99,#3,#2,Home depot,Dewalt,Crown Royal,and one
"I don't give a rats aXX I'm here to drink".
Some were arrested some pointed to others as the ones that were throwing.

in basic terms positioned continually the guy continually a fan. I nevertheless won't be able to observe pictures of the wear without tearing up and leaving the room he became a hero to thousands and thousands of people by using fact he became a working type guy who accompanied his dream and grew to become a legend and legends in no way die. i think the Daytona 500 must be stated as the Dale Earnhardt daytona 500 in basic terms on the grounds that became his song and no-one merits it greater, he did greater for the sport than the different driving force era. i wish that he's finding down on junior precise now and telling him good activity. i know that as quickly as junior made his incontrovertible fact that Childress made it a element to do despite he could desire to to get an Earnhardt lower back in his vehicle by using fact DEI could have the Earnhardt call yet Childress remains and continually would be homestead to the Earnhardt's

just for your info Dale Sr. is not a race car driver..... He is a legend. As for Dale Jr. fans yeah it is a disgrace to the sport..... That goes for Gordon fans too when they throw Pepsi cans out there It goes both ways..... Both have some fans that are real class acts.......

Simple physics.

A full beer will fly farther and have a harder impact than an empty can or bottle due to the fact there's more mass behind it.

I must echo the sentiment that it couldn't have been just Papa and Jr.'s fans. Have you ever met a Smoke fan?

Are you saying that it was stupid of them to throw the beers because they were full, or that they were stupid to throw anything on the track? If you are saying they were stupid to throw full beers on the track, then you must be a drunk. Otherwise it was very stupid of them to throw stuff onto the track. They are just jelous i suppose.

I was at Phoenix and seen a Gordon fan throw a beer on the track when they gave him the #3 flag.

It's the beer's fault, it should of been empty. I know that beer jumped right out of that fans hand and on to the track.
