mbestevez is right, she gave you the perfect past tense, this is the imperfect past tense:
I lived: Yo vivía
You lived: Tú vivías (casual), Usted vivía (formal)
He/she lived: El/ella: vivía
We lived: nosotros vivíamos
You lived: vosotros vivíais (casual, used only in Spain), ustedes vivían (formal)
They lived: Ellos(as) vivían
