We spend billions to support it. Supporting it doesn't improve relations with the Arab states who at least have something to offer, namely oil. Supposedly Jews everywhere were being vilely persecuted and needed a safe-haven,but most important they desired to end the Diaspora. So why aren't they doing it?

Yes,I know they're here to support AIPAC,etc. As far as my background,my people didn't jump out of the frying pan and into the fire; they came here to live in peace; the Jews went there knowing they would keep the mideast in turmoil. In any event READ THE QUESTION. THE QUESTION IS WHY ARE WE SUPPORTING A JEWISH STATE WHEN OUR JEWS DON'T INTEND TO USE IT? WHY ARE WE FOOTING THE BILL? WHY ARE PAYING BILLIONS TO SUPPORT IT IF OUR JEWS DON'T NEED IT? If our Jews don't want to "end the diaspora" then why should we fund it? That's the question - o.k.? I don't know or care why they don't want to go there; I just know few do,so why should we pay for it and why should we catch all this flak from the Arabs?THE IDEA WAS THEY WANTED TO END THE DIASPORA. IF THAT ISN'T THE CASE WITH OUR JEWS WHY ARE WE SUBSIDIZING IT. Get it? Do you understand the question? Finally?

I think the point is,if our Jews do not wish to use Israel and don't feel the need for it,why should we the taxpayer bankroll it? I don't see anything about "why don't Jews like it" or anything relating this question to the various reasons why American jews may or may not wish to live in Israel. The question is what is our responsibility, particularly financially? I agree with the author. Few American Jews want to live there or feel any need for it. So let it support itself or find some other patron state.

You seem to be arguing that the USA should not support Israel because the existence of Israel is not enticing America's Jews to emigrate there? Is that your point? Then you say that Jews "supposedly" are being persecuted. Well clearly a million Jews from the former Soviet Union would not have moved to Israel if they had not experienced persecution and discrimination - the same goes for the Jews of Ethiopia. Also to say that Arabs' offer America oil and Israel has nothing to offer is pretty stupid when American companies invested over $12 billion in Israeli companies last year - how many Arab companies are listed on the Nasdaq or NYSE? Clearly Israel has a great deal to offer the USA and the world and also how many western educated, technologically advanced countries are there in the Middle East or the world that are pro-American?
I suppose your goal is to encourage hatred and violence towards Jews in the USA so that they will migrate?

As others have mentioned, the community human beings are no longer diverse or efficient adequate to take over and administration North usa, so it is not any longer a sensible concept. The Palestine area after international conflict II became into no longer an prepared united states and already had Jewish human beings there. whilst the Jews moved into that area interior the Nineteen Forties and became maximum individuals, they for sure shaped a central authority and took value. there became into no Palestine government there on the time, and fairly the British have been greater or much less on top of issues.

You are a clever one Fire & Water.
Jews have to stay in America to keep their lobby groups going, such as AIPAC, so that they can influence American foreign policy towards Israel and the Middle East, in favour of Israel.

They are. But there are not enough jobs to sustain the influx.
Jews stay in America to earn money to send back to those in need. Sounds like a good plan. Also, any money given to Israel has always come back in advanced technology 100 fold.

And what is YOUR heritage background? Whatever it is, what keeps YOU from moving back from wherever your ancestors came from? Remember, everyone in America came from immigrants (excluding the North American Indians).
So, speak on--why aren't you moving back, huh??

Well, I can answer by asking why Muslim are not moving to any Muslim countries, or why Buddhist are not moving to China.
Judaism is a religion not a country.
