I have sensitive skin! Whats a good cleanser that is gentle? (it doesn't have to be for acne) i was using apricrot scrub then i switched to clearasil ultra and that dried out my skin so i tried this deep clean neutrogena stuff and that dried out my skin too! (they both dried out my cheeks and my nose!)

Here are some quick things you can do from home to help you get rid of you acne.

Home Remedy Acne Skin Care Tips

Tip 1: Get a bowl and mix together some baking soda, honey, and olive oil. Wet your face, and massage the mixture into your skin for 30 to 60 seconds. The mixture should feel grainy, but not rough.

Tip 2: Place a warm washcloth on your face for 10 to 15 seconds, to open and unclog pores.

Tip 3: Get some Aloe Vera Gel from the nearest whole foods store and use it as facial moisturizer.

Besides doing this, or buying Accutane or Proactiv, several of my clients have used No More Shame 24 hour Acne Eliminating Kit. The kit contains a good all-natural face scrub that has ingredients that will help your complexion. It works well because it contains essential oils. Essentials are extremely potent, yet gentle solutions that kill bacteria and fungus and control your skin's oil production. This is critical for you because you need to balance your skin's oil, not strip it. The scrub also has aloe and vitamin e, which are good for your skin. My clients' with oily skin have seen drastic improvements in their skin tone, greasiness, and texture by using the scrub. You can find it online at wwwdiscoverb4acom.

oh dear. you are using the wrong products all together. the apricot scrub for sensitive skin should be used once a week, and for someone like you with skin getting easily dried I would begin to use something less harsh.

La Therapie is the best cleanser I have found. It is made in Europe, its cream based (dont use a foam cleanser - its terrible for acne skin - they dont tell you this in the ads!) --- anyway you have to order La therapie

If you cant find la therapie then switch to a cleanser that is not foam based. cetaphil is "okay" but it has an ingredient that can cause clogging.. i experienced this wiht cetaphil.

stay away from deep clean neutrogena. I think deep clean cleansers are a way to market to teenagers who have not yet played around with products.

There is no such thing as deep clean if all it does is strip away essential oils from your skin.

2) Eurecin Sensitive Skin Cleanser (white pump bottle w/ pink label)

3) Dove for sensitive skin

4) Murad AHA/BHA face wash

5) Cetaphil face wash for removing eye makeup, foundation, etc.

Cetaphil cleanser is really good and very gentle AND probably the least expensive.
Also, Olay Hydrate & Cleanse night nourishing cream and cleanser is something I've recently tried and I love it. It's great at getting off water proof mascara and yet gentle.
In general avoid anything that's foaming. Foaming means there's detergent in it and that's what's drying. Read the labels.

Rice face wash from Bath and Body Works is amazing. It's really natural, the only chemicals are the ones that keep the natural ingredients from going bad. The rice wash is balancing, so it will moisturize the dry parts and dry up the oily parts. I've recommended it to my fiancee and best friend, and they're obsessed now too. OH! And also it's 100% guaranteed so if it doesn't work, you can try something else! :0)

flow to objective and get the purifier through juice organics. there's a moisturizer too. The brightening one works surprising and that i have smooth epidermis as well. also, the chemical compounds interior the pimples creams are not assisting the dried out epidermis element... desire that enables :) P.S. Cetaphil has 2 sorts of alcohol in it (very drying) and also has sodium lauryl sulfate and has parabens in it as well. both are extremely undesirable for your epidermis :(. do somewhat analyze on those substances.. you'd be throwing away loads of things lol.

Use a gentle soap like baby wash, or johnson & johnson baby bar. If you need moisture, use a dab of olive oil, Just enough to smooth over your face without leaving it shiny. It won't break your face out.
