If you get red bumps on your legs from grass, is it an allergic reaction?

When i was playing in the grass, I got up and found zillions of itchy red spots on my legs. I know they aren't chicken pocks but is it an allergic reaction?

Could be chiggers. They are small mites that burrow into you skin. It takes quite awhile to get rid of them.If you scratch them too much you could get an infection.

When I was a kid,moms would put clear nail polish over the bite and after a few days, the chigger died. Chiggers loves the grass and human skin. If it doesn't go away with washing them it is probably chiggers

if you don't want it , do play in it with exposed skin
