I love this stuff!!! I can still remember in the early 1970's when all the fear was around Global Cooling!!! That the next great Ice Age was just around the corner.
1972 On the Cover of Readers Digest: "Scientists point to overall cooling of water temperatures as a sign earth is nearing another Great Ice Age". And with all the "Proof" they had, that man was ruining the environment, all gasoline was leaded, burning coal as a major energy source, and car emmissions uncheched, they worried about an Ice Age. Seem a little weird that ony 30 something years later, the same things are causing global warming???
Do you think Polititions might have been using the same fear tactics in 1972 as they might be today...
Oh and tell Sheryl Crow to shut up about all her environmental causes, until she quits touring with 3 Semi Trucks, belching pollution, to carry all the stage equiptment, until she pracices what she preaches!!!
What are "Rules for the Environment" only to be embraced by us commoners? Are she and the rest of the "Entertainment Elite Left" above that sort of thing. You know, actually Practicing what they tell the rest of us what we have to do???
Oh and as far as Industry propoganda being discredited, who knows what your talking about? Of course spitting smoke into the air is terrible, and as one who dosn't prescribe to the Global Warming fear, those industries are wrong.
Interesting fact, I live in the largest Dairy producing region in the country, Central California, so we have lots of cows. According to Agriculture studies, more methane and toxic gas is produced by Cow emmissions, (Poops) than cars...

No it is elliptical.
Yes it is a perfect axis
No the temperature of the planet has fluctuated wildly over the billions of years we've been here.
No, the ozone layer theory is still just theory.
The truth is the earth has gone through ice ages, mini ice ages, drought, heat, flooding and everything in between. Global Warming is a joke. It is a way for some companies to appeal to our guilt to make money. that's it in a nutshell.

I wish someone would tell Al Gore to shut up.
Why do normal thinking people listen to an idiot like him?
He's a has been washed up politician who'se only trying to cash in on his Global Warming scam.
I also believe he's insane and needs to be in the care of a competant psychiatirst who specializes in his unique problems.
He's number 1 on my top 10 list of people I am officially sick of and wish would go away.
But like a little tiny dog that barks all the time at nothing inparticular,I know he's here to stay.

Nothing in nature is perfect, it created the human race didn't it?
But seriously, just a couple decades ago they were telling us we were heading for another ice age.
I think that if every windbag democrat could just shut up for ten minutes a day, they would save a few metric tons of hot air and do everyone a big favor.
Maybe we could outlaw pork and beans. Remember the theory that cows were farting too much?

But there is a global warming trend. It started back at the peak of the last Ice Age. Just thank God Al Gore wasn't in charge then. If he had his way the northern states would still be coverend in ice hundreds of feet thick.

Tens of thousands of scientists have endorsed the "theory" of global warming. In fact, over 90% of scientists have concluded that man's activities are causing this climate change. There are cycles of warming and cooling but scientific analysis can separate these from the effects caused by burning fossil fuel and other co2 emissions.

If the Global Warming types are correct in their presumption that Man can affect global climate, and successfully institute their counter-global-warming measures with the same wisdom they instituted all their other programs, we'll probably all wind up freezing to death.
What they don't tell you is that the greenhouse effect is what makes this planet habitable to begin with.

The movement of the earth is unpredictable and global warming is one of the consequences. Pollution has nothing to do with climate change but it must be eliminated.
