find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

My advise is weight watchers. It REALLY does work, and it works much faster than I expected. I lost 22 pounds in less than 4 months, and it was fairly simple. You can even eat fast food while doing weight watchers.Visit weight watchers.com, and see how you can become a member. There is no miracle way, but weight watchers worked GREAT for me, as well as 2 of my friends. I went from a size 10 to a size 6, so I am very happy with myself, and my appearance now. I have also been told that Nutrisystem works well, but is much more expensive.
I know I sound like a spokes person, but I'm seriously just being honest.

Diet and exercise. There's no real magic. If there was some amazing trick everyone would know about it, everyone would be doing it.
Why not try a program like Weight Watchers, that will provide a group environment to support you? Depending on your age you may need a doctors note for that.
But my sister joined, and she went from a (children's) size 18+ to a 12 in only three months! If you stick to their program it really will work.

Do thirty minutes of cardio excercise every day and try to add in weight lifting every other day. If you want to drop five sizes before the summer ends. You need to start now. Make sure you drink a lot of water. ( whatever your body weight is, you need to drink half of that in ounces.) Stay away from sugary foods and eat more fiber and ruffage like apples.

I would not worry about what size you can get down to. Just start eating healthy and be active. If you just stop worrying about it and stick to that you'll be what ever size you want soon enough..
