im 14 and i sort of like a kid in my grade. my friends are friends with his and the other night we all went to the movies and he got my number from another kid...hes texted me like 80 times in the past two days and hes wicked nicee...hes kind of quiet in person and like kind of shyy but he talks so m uch over IM and txt and tries to make me laugh (it works)........i just want to know if he likes me like i like him..?

um... yes. Think of it in reverse do you get someones number from someone else then text and IM that person 80 times in the last 2 days without having feelings towards them.

It's a crush and you're young enough to just play it like it is. It sounds like he's definitely interested but you're nowhere near getting married or even having a really serious boyfriend. Enjoy things while you can! Flirt, be nice, hold hands...but don't let yourself believe that you're in love too soon.
I'd definitely say that he's interested if he's making all of this effort but play things cool and have fun. Don't stress or something that could be a blast for you right now could turn disastrous!

Of course he likes you if he got your number from someone else he was probably to shy to ask you tho. And if he keeps texting you and trying to make you laugh its pretty much a sign 99.9 percent of the time that he likes you so i say go for it.
