No it isn't easy. But that's okay. Nothing rewarding is easy, don't you agree? And the more you stay in God's word and ask for His grace, the more liberally He will give you His spirit to do His will daily. It's such a joy to follow Jesus. May God give you all you need to be a light in this world for Him.

I think if you find being a Christian easy, you're either too deep in your safety zone, or you're living life in a very shallow way, or you're more in tune with God than anyone else on the planet!

If you think the majority religion isn't easy, try being an atheist.
Then again, it could be hard to be a Christian. You have about ten thousand opinions to follow from a supposed deity, depending on your sect, and rules about sexual behavior that tend to contradict human nature.

Of course it won't be a cake walk - if we sin without repentance we can expect to be disciplined. the hardship of discipline, however, is like a diamond in the rough, for we will be refined and strengthened. ignoring the lord's discipline and continuing in sin will lead to further discipline, greater hardship, and ultimately even death.

it's a great paradox: it's easy and hard. We make it hard but God makes it easy. If you're not worshiping him with your whole heart, you are going to keep on messing up and feeling like crap.

Sometimes, we must suffer for our faith, just as our Lord Jesus Christ suffered for us...
