anyone know more about this please let me know, My child father popped up after 13yrs and him and his new wife have made threats about taking my child from me, I know the father has rights but does the wife have any rights, the child and I have rights but i would like to know more about the rights we have and I am looking for a lawer in Medina, Ohio I guess the fight is on.......please any help would be greatly needed

Don't even give it a 2nd thought, 13 years, yeah, now they are going to try and make your life miserable. He and his wife obviously don't have anything else to do. Yeah the fight is on and if you need back up - email me. Does your child even know the father, don't hire the lawyer until you get papers from him, or, go to your local court and get legal custody of your child before the crap starts. Look under the US Code for issues on the child custody things. The wife doesn't have rights unless she adopts the child. Keep good records of all interactions, a telephone log, etc., you can get free legal aide in your area, check with the division of child welfare and enforcement. Good Luck!!
