You are not cruel. It is possible for male birds to bond and these guys appear to love each other. There's no real harm in this.

Clipping their wings would help with the flying away thing and that also tends to keep the "attitude" problem down with most pet birds. They might be more willing to be with you as long as they are together. They might even start to treat you like their personal mobile tree!

Then get them a nice little tree or other bird playground that they can share and have fun. They will stay more or less in reach and you will find it easier to interact with them.

Good luck.

Don't seperate them please! Or if you feel you have to try something try keeping them in different cages beside eachother. It might help or it might not but it's worth a try. But takeing them away from each other would be very painful for them and probably make them trust you even les. It is possible to tame a budgie with a friend (although often not to teh level of a single budgie) It just takes a bit more patience.

I believe that Budgies (parakeets) are SO much happier with other buegies. At first I only had one and i thought he was pretty happy. But once we got him a friend he changed so much. he was more energetic and playful, ate better and came out of his cage more. Now we have 5 and it's teh happiest litle flock I've ever seen.

They arn't tame, but they're not scared of people either. They'll dive bomb you (playfully!) if you come into the room and look at you from where ever they're playing. Their cage is almost always open and they come and go as they please.

If I had to choose between a tame budgie and my beautiful flock i'd choose the flock over the tame budgie anyday!

Good luck!

Just leave them together, they will get sad if separated. You don't need to take them out that often. Give them plenty of things to play on and a big enough cage and they will be fine. You can interact with them together. It would be like splitting up brothers. Clip their wings and they wont fly away. it is less cruel than splitting them up.

Oh cool down she did no longer conform to the sale. She's nonetheless your esoulmate and that i nonetheless stay the emistress. in spite of the shown fact that, Turtle needs her in his love shell very badly so whilst the bond does ruin he can convenience her. Briley is a miles greater proper mate for him than Fireball is besides. He ought to alter it to vast Flying Turtle for Briley. Sounds lots nicer does not it? Briley and Brian sound like fraternal twins or something. mom knows precisely what she's speaking approximately. you're precise Briley, he's nicely worth so lots better than that. i became into basically attempting to help a sister out in college. besides i could by no skill want to possess him.

Separating them can cause depression and feather picking. Birds are monogamous and mate for life. It is in your birds best interest that you do not try and break what appears to be a very tight bond.
