wow, she's 28?
she needs to get the **** outta there man!
she cant rely and depend on her parents,
what would she when she doesn't have parents anymore?
have youmet them?
you should talk to the parents and tell them that you have good intentions for their daughter etc etc etc,
maybe that way she wouldn't need to sneak around anymore.

Maybe they aren't controlling but being over-protective. Most of the time parents are being overly protective is because of what themselves went through in life or what your girlfriend has done within her life.
In addition to this, your girlfriend should be sincere and bring forth the relationship that she has with you with her parents. Has she taken you home? Are you sure she is living with her parents?
Maybe she should take you to her home to meet her parents. It just might give her parents some type of reassurance. Talk to your girlfriend about this and see what she says. Good Luck.

I would ignore it. It really doesn't affect your relationship except when she is home, and I assume that this doesn't happen very often(?).
I might also guess that she may have some issue about you that she doesn't want to get them started on, because she can't win an argument there, even if she wanted it confronted. Just let it alone. Discussion can only make her more uncomfortable, and you will gain nothing.
What ever the issues are, they will work themselves out in their own time.

As long as it's really the parents who don't want it then call her when she's at a friend's house or get her minutes for a pay as you go cell phone. Her parents can't say much if it isn't their phone. If they don't want her to talk to you specifically, you need to sit down with them and find out why.

There could be many items here of interest. Are you a toll call? And who pays the phone bill? Since she's living at home at her age, perhaps it's a tactic on their part for her to initiate some independence.

She's 28 and living w/ her parents? If she is, they can be like that all they want, but if not, and it's her phone (may be concerend about phone bills?), then she may have some other relationship, or maybe is lying to her parents about her dating status.

My parents were like that and somewhat still are. In my younger years I just started to rebel. Now that I'm older, I still have trouble talking to them, but I communicate more with them. I think some parents are just overbearing. In reality she has to be the one to break those chains and tell them she's old enough to make her own decisions and who she can talk too.

Maybe her parents don't know you're dating her, because they'd come at you or her.
My parents would do this.
